The American Red Cross will partner in association with the Kimberly FFA Chapter in conducting a community blood drive in the Kimberly High School gym. The purpose of this blood drive is to encourage all students, parents, and staff who are able to donate blood. We would also want to help encourage first time donors to stay donors in the future, and bring past donors. Kimberly FFA has chosen to conduct this activity due to shortages of blood at local blood banks. KHS students who are helping will be responsible for encouraging fellow KHS students, parents, and staff to sign up and donate to the blood drive on the American Red Cross website, as well as providing a local and convenient location. During the blood drive, student helpers will assist the Red Cross employees as needed, including with checking in donors, managing the snack table, and other duties as needed.
